Partners for Peace and Prosperity (3Ps) was established when world leaders were discussing the Post-2015 development Agenda, which came later as the new UN Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, with its 17 goals and 169 targets at its core.
The founders of 3Ps were very much inspired and encouraged by the dynamism with which civil society organizations (CSOs) from all over the world converged in New York, to fully participate in discussions, which, in the past, were the domain of member States. The collaboration, witnessed among CSOs, has also been unprecedented.
